Creative Boys Unlimited empowers young multicultural men to discover their creative superpower. Our goal is to provide them with access to self-help tools and interactive programming that engages them at their passion points, sparks their interest in growing their creative skills, and exposes them to creative careers.
This Black History Month–– and Beyond, we joined forces with Western Digital to celebrate diversity, culture, and digital creativity with the limited-edition SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD - Afrofuturism Edition.

Story
David George Brown (former dancer, turned marketer, author, & social good entrepreneur) founded Creative Boys Unlimited after realizing there was a gap in conversations, resources, and community for young men of color in creative industries. As his first initiative, David released Black Boy, Create!–– a teen-friendly self-help book empowering young men of color to unleash their creativity–– and was selected as 1 of 35 recipients of the 2023 Long Beach Arts Council x California Creative Corps Artist Grant to bring the CBU mission to life.
